Your testimonies have I taken as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart. Psalm 119:111
This blog is dedicated to my father, Bill Rogers. Since the fall of 2005 when he was first diagnosed with throat cancer, Dad has patiently, consistently, and courageously fought the battle for his life. Dad has faced down this disease with a rare optimism and unwavering faith. He is my hero.
I have made my prayer to the God of my salvation. I am standing in faith to see my Dad's life restored back to him. God has graciously poured out his love over us through Jesus Christ; in and through him we have been given every blessing pertaining to life and godliness. By faith in Christ, healing is ours, emotional, spirtual, and physical, the whole man. This is the love of God, and it is beyond human comprehension. For by his stripes, through his suffering, we have been reconciled to God, released from every curse...if we will only dare to believe in a passionate God who gave everything that He could give in Christ Jesus. "He who knew no sin became sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus." Our hearts bow prostrate before His unspeakable love and kindness, his tender mercies.
There is tremendous power in our testimony. I want my Dad to have access to these testimonies, so that his faith can connect with the body of Christ, and he may recieve the blessings that God has lavished upon us in Christ! Having done all to stand, I am standing on every promise of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My heart resonates with Christ's prayer to the Father, in the hour of his greatest trial: "Abba, Father, with you all things are possible!"
Please share your testimonies, prayers, and words of encouragement for my dad. I cannot express how much this means to me, and what a blessing you are to take the time to write a note, a testimony, a prayer. May the God of all comfort be with you, and grant you his shalom, his completeness!
For they overcame by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of their testimony.

Beautifully put, I know many people who are believing abba Father for healing miracles:) My family and I are still standing in faith for my brother Dillon's, who was diagnosed with Autism 10 years ago, complete recovery and seeing his little miracles in our lives every day. I will keep you posted on his progress. Dillon has just started Junior High School and although he has not yet mastered speech. He waits on the corner, patiently for his bus every morning. His overall cognizance has improved, as there is nothing I can't tell him to do and he will do it. Even his teachers at school have acknowledged that he is different than his other special ed classmates. This is a miracle. I am personally believing that my brother will be completely independent, he's definitely come a long way.
"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16
Hello Bill... We are standing with you as we wait for the Mighty, Mighty Jesus to do His healing work in your body. I encourage you with the 'Memorial Stones' that we are instructed to look at, as Moses did, to keep our eyes on the things that Father did in the past, in order to kep our eyes on Him alone, as we wait for the fulfillment of His promoises to us in the present.
He raised me from the dead. My life was over after I declined into 15 yrs of total darkness and drug addiction after my husband of 26 yrs. left me and our 3 children. He has healed my mother of Altzheimer's in the last 2 months. He grew out on of my legs that was shorter than the other one. He healed my chronic migraine's of 25 yrs. He healed my depression. He healed a tooth that was bed. This beautiful Savior is the same yesterday, today and forever. His healing balm is flowing to you. The timing and way belong to Him....we stand in the Gap and praise Him for Victory over darkness as The King uses this for His glory (Rom. 8:28) The Light always pushes out the dark! There IS no contest. The contest has already been won. Eyes on Him alone! Eyes on Him. In the Mighty Mighty Name of Jesus...Kingdom of Heaven Come on earth. In His Grip..Karen Machovina
A friend of mine, Rob, was a Baltimore City police officer when he was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease almost 13 years ago. He, his family, and many other families who knew and loved him joined in prayer. After several years of treatment he was completely healed, and has remained cancer free to this day. This is a case where God not only used medicine to heal his body, physically, but also through the experience healed his soul. He had walked away from God and his family. As he began to experience his physical healing, his heart began to turn back towards God and those he loved. He remains a dear brother and God is using him today as a pastor who ministers to young people in Baltimore City.
Mr. Rogers,
I am praying that God would release the power of the Holy Spirit to heal your body and remove every trace of cancer. Though it may seem impossible for such a thing to happen, God has proven Himself in my life and millions upon millions of others, that what is impossible for man is possible with God. When our hearts become filled with the love of God it is amazing what He does both inwardly in our souls and outwardly in our bodies. It is by God’s love that our sins are forgiven, it is by God’s love that our sickness can be removed, and it is by God’s love that He fills our hearts with a kind of faith that is able to move mountains. I am praying that the tangible awareness of God’s love for you would be experienced in a very special way at this time. I know that there are so many people who deeply love you and are praying for you, especially Michelle, but most of all your Heavenly Father loves you more than you can possibly imagine. May this love that God has poured out upon you and around you begin to fill you with a living hope and faith that nothing is impossible with God. As you continue to dwell in this reality of love I pray that the tide of faith would begin to rise, stronger and stronger, and higher and higher every new day.
“Jesus replied, ‘What is impossible with men is possible with God.’” (Luke 18:27)
“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you.” (2 Corinthians 13:14)
